Education
Required: Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology program or related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the Arts or Sciences from a JRCNMT or JRCERT program or related field
Experience
Required: One year clinical experience.
Preferred: Imaging experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at M.D. Anderson.
License/Certification
Required:
All of the following:
Medical Radiologic Technologist license (CMRT) from the Texas Medical Board
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine credentials, and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) credentials
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Preferred:
• ARRT in CT credentials
• NMTCB - PET
• Additional certifications (NMTCB-NCT/ CNMT; ARRT – N/R/T/QM)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
