Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited Join Review Committee on Educational Program Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) in a related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in the Arts or Sciences from a JRCNMT or JRCERT program or related field
Experience
Required: None.
Preferred: One year of clinical experience. Imaging experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at M.D. Anderson.
License/Certification
Required:All of the following:

- Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) by Texas Department of State Health Services.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
Preferred:
• ARRT in CT credentials
• NMTCB - PET
• Additional certifications (NMTCB-NCT/ CNMT; ARRT – N/R/T/QM)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
