Pharmacy Technician, ATC R2

EDUCATION:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: College credits would be a plus.

EXPERIENCE:
Required:  No experience required.

Preferred:  Experience in a Pharmacy IV room, preparing IV doses.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
Required: Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).

Preferred: Current Cetification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).

OTHER:

Required:  Must pass pre-employment skills a test as required and administered by Human Resources.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position requires:
Working in Patient Care Unit (e.g. Nursing unit; outpatient clinic)
Exposure to human/animal blood, body fluids, or tissues
Exposure to harmful chemicals
Exposure to radiation
