Quality Informatics Nurse Specialist (Data Abstraction)

EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or other related healthcare discipline.

Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or other related healthcare discipline.

EXPERIENCE

Required: Three years of clinical nursing experience.

Preferred: Data Abstraction, Medical Terminology experience. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Epic and/or Vizient platforms.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

Required: Current State of Texas Professional Nursing License (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
