·Maintains stocks of zebrafish and the associated aquatic system
·Conducts experiments in areas of molecular biology
and genetics
·Constructs, assembles and operates laboratory
apparatus and equipment
·Records and evaluates data in accordance with
methods requested
· Reads
literature and confers with superiors regarding new procedures and modifies
them according to the needs of the project
·Assists
with administrative responsibilities associated with oversight and
management of the zebrafish aquaculture facility
Bachelor's degree, major course work in one of the basic sciences. No experience.
