Research Dietitian Nutritional Epidemiology

EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree and completion of an American Dietetic Association (ADA) approved dietetic internship or its equivalent.

Preferred: Advanced education in Epidemiology, Basic or Behavioral Science and/or advanced training in scientific or medical research setting.

EXPERIENCE: None. 

Preferred: Experience in an acute care setting or academic research facility, including coordination of research studies.Experience in human subject research, clinical studies management or community project coordination. Experience managing multiple projects and staff. Experience with controlled feeding studies or dietary interventions. Experience with dietary assessment and analysis.

OTHER: 
Required:  All of the following :

Current Registered Dietitian (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Current Licensed Dietitian (LD) with Texas State Board of Examiners of Dietitians.

Preferred Certification:
Current ANSI food handlers certification at the time of hire or obtain one within 60 days of hire, and maintain a current certification throughout employment.
