Research Scientist - Dr. Yuan- Hung Lo
The ideal candidate will have background in cancer research or stem cell biology
The Intended function of this position is to apply scientific and technical expertise towards development and management of scientific and administrative contents for research grants.
Conduct experiments
Conduct and lead research projects, including identifying knowledge gaps, formulating hypotheses, designing and executing experiments, and analyzing results.
Scientific and Admin Support to PI
Assist PI with grant preparation, including drafting scientific sections, supporting documents, and progress reports; Support manuscript writing, data visualization and scientific presentations; Manage institutional protocols (IRB, IACUC, IBC), including preparation, modification and submission of required documents; Contribute to overall lab coordination, including research planning and tracking of ongoing projects.
Other duties as assigned
Education:
Required: Masters degree in one of the natural sciences or related field or PhD or Medical degree
Experience:
Required: Four years of experience in experimental or scientific work. With PhD, no experience required. With Medical degree, two years of experience in experimental or scientific work.
Preferred: Background in cancer research or stem cell biology
