Room Service Transport Staff - Room Service

The Room Service Transport Staff position in the department of Room Service at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Texas Medical Center provides service to patients and guests in the delivery of room service meals and nourishments, tube feeding and nutrition supplies. This position will impact the operations of the room service program which potentially impacts all patients and guests.
Schedule (if needed):
6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Rotating weekends and holidays
What You’ll Do:
Utilize interpersonal and customer service skills to create a positive interaction and outcome with all patients, guest, and staff.
Deliver meals, nourishments, and tube feedings within an established time frame.
Retrieves trays from nursing units and returns to washing area.
Follow the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Inventories, assembles, receives, delivers, and stores supplies for room service areas and for nursing units. Maintains sanitation of work area and equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
No experience is required but the ideal candidate will have experience working in food service or as a busser.
A positive attitude, strong time management skills, and commitment to teamwork.
Texas Food Handlers Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
