Senior Detective University Police

Education Required: In accordance with current levels of education for commissioned police officers of the University of Texas System as adopted by the Board of Regents.

Experience Required: Five years experience as a commissioned peace officer, with three years as an investigator or detective, to include three years of lead/supervisory responsibility.

Successful completion of the LEADing Self Accelerate and/or LEADing Self Discover programs may substitute for one year of required supervisory or management experience. Completion of both programs can be substituted for a maximum of two years of supervisory or management experience. 

License/Certification:  All of the following: Commissioned/licensed peace officer for the State of Texas within 180 days of entry into job. Valid Class C Texas driver's license.
