Sr EKG Technologist - Cardiology Laboratory
We are currently seeking a Senior EKG Technologist to join our Cardiology Laboratory team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience as an EKG Technologist or related field, and Electrocardiography (EKG) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Holter monitor scanning and stress test experience is preferred.
Shift: Varies Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, 10-hour shift – rotating weekend and holidays
Salary: $49,500 minimum - $62,000 midpoint - $74,500 maximum

Summary
The primary purpose of the Senior EKG Technologist position is to perform all advanced Cardiology specialized diagnostic procedures.
Key Functions
Performs, in full, the following diagnostic tests: EKGs, Holter Studies, Signal Average EKG's as well as specialized testing procedures as needed, Exercise EKG, Twenty-four-hour Blood Pressure Monitoring, Nuclear Stress Testing, and Echo Stress Testing. Assists physicians during procedures as needed. Assist patients with preparation for test procedures. Interact with patients and families by comforting and giving constant attention to their welfare. Calibrates and/or prepares equipment for use. Evaluates the validity of patients' data and test results, as well as processing patient charges. Assists with assuring lab policies, technical procedures, safety rules, and infection control policies are properly enforced. Performs additional duties as assigned by Chief Cardiovascular Technologist.

EDUCATION
Required: High school diploma/equivalent.
Preferred: Technical training in cardiopulmonary.
EXPERIENCE
Required: One year of experience as an EKG Technologist or related field.
Preferred: One year of experience as an EKG Technologist or related field; Holter monitor scanning and stress test experience.
CERTIFICATION
Required: Electrocardiography (EKG) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Preferred: None
