REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate's degree in Applied Sciences or related field.
Preferred Education: Master’s Level Degree
Certification: Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) within 180 days of eligibility. Any employee hired or rehired after September 1, 2012 must possess required certification.
Preferred Certification: AALAS Laboratory Animal Technologists Certification, Laboratory Animal Technologist (LATG) from the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS) within 180 days of eligibility. Experience: Five years of animal research experience to include two years working with imaging equipment. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. NOTE: Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
Preferred Experience: Five years of research experience with imaging equipment.
