Sr Neurophysiology Technician

EDUCATION:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by the completion of an approved training course or on the job training in electrocephalographic technique.

Preferred: Bachelors degree in related field. 

EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three years in neurophysiology using EEGs, IOMs, EMGs and evoked potential testing. With preferred degree, one year of required experience. One of the following: Certification in neurophysiologic intraoperative monitoring (CNIM), registration in electroencephalographic technology (EEG) or registration in evoked potential technology (R EP T) by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologist (ABRET). Registration in electromyography (EMG) by the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET).
