- Accurately and efficiently prepare high-risk sterile products
- Accurately and efficiently prepare extemporaneous compounds

- Demonstrates proficiency in two or more specialized areas of expertise meeting accuracy and productivity standards

- Monitors area inventory and supplies, notifies appropriate personnel when shortages and/or outages noted.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
License/Certification
Experience
Required: Two years pharmacy technician experience in a hospital, infusion center, or retail pharmacy.
Preferred: Experience in hazardous sterile compounding, high risk sterile compounding, nonsterile compounding, inventory management, and Pharmacy employee training. Experience in OR, critical care, pediatrics, ordering/receiving medications, and controlled substances.
