Sr Systems Analyst (HPC, Kubernetes)

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Certification: One or more of the following: Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified Datacenter Specialist (RHCDS), Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA), CompTIA A+, HP Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and/or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX)

Experience Required:
Five years’ experience in analysis/design/project management/programming.  May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with  HPC and or Kubernetes experience
Experience with Linux administration
Experience with, RedHat Linux, SUSE Linux, Ubuntu, or VMware ESX 
Experience with installation, configuration & maintenance of system applications such as LSF, Slurm, Bright Cluster manager, and/or Kubernetes including a good working knowledge of compute cluster scheduling.
Experience with writing and debugging shell, Python, or other scripts.
Experience with the installation, configuration & maintenance of Open-Source applications such as gcc, Pytorch, R various Open Source Next Gen Sequencing apps such as tophat, samtools, etc.
Working knowledge of GPFS and NFS storage systems.
