Sr Web Developer
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Four years of experience in systems programming with three years experience in related software programs, to include proficiency in an assembler language or comparable machine coding language, one other language, plus working knowledge of one or more additional languages.
May substitute require education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis or completed years of college on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Seven years in developing web applications from design to implementation and maintenance to include at least 3 years developing patient decision aids and other decision support tools.
Excellent design skills; an understanding of typography, understanding of color theory, understanding of file formats (text, graphics [GIFs, JPEGs, SVG, PNG, etc.] and when to deploy each type), appreciation for user experience, ability to create designs that work across platforms (desktop and mobile), ability to design infographics and convey complex concepts and data visually, ability to communicate design requirements and specifications clearly to programmers and developers Experience with:
• HTML
• CSS3
• JQuery/Javascript
• 508 Compliance
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
• Multimedia tools (Adobe Premier/After Effects/Encore)
• Code editing (Visual Studio Code)
• Familiar with Web database technologies (SQL)
• Web hosting (domain registrations, DNS, Web hosting platforms, Wordpress or other CMS systems)
• Web security (including HIPAA requirements)
• Web development back end technologies such as PHP or .net
