Treatment Nurse Navigator - Genitourinary Cancer Center

EDUCATION

 Required:  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

 Preferred:  Master’s Degree in Nursing 

EXPERIENCE

Required:  Five years professional oncology nursing or oncology nurse navigation experience.  With preferred degree, three years professional oncology nursing or oncology nurse navigation experience.  May substitute required degree with an Associate’s degree in Nursing and seven years of professional oncology nursing or oncology nurse navigation experience

Preferred:   Required degree and certification as an oncology nurse or nurse navigator 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Required:   Current State of Texas Professional Nursing License (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Preferred:  National certification in Oncology
