Certification:
Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and certified in one of the following:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible. Sonography (S) or Vascular S
Preferred Certification:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographyer (RDMS) through ARDMS (AB, OB/GYN, or RVT)
Sonography (S) or Vascular (VS) through ARRT
Experience:
No experience required with graduation from an approved program of ultrasound technology less than 24 months ago or graduation from an approved program of radiologic technology and six months of experience as a registered radiologic technologist at MDACC.
Preferred Experience:
Other: Must pass simulation skills test admininstered by the dept.
