Provides analysis design and implementation of business and application requirements as they relate to Internet deployment strategies.

The ideal candidates will have experience with with Javascript/TypeScript, C#, CSS, and HTMl.


Technical Expertise: 

*  Develops Internet applications for protocol approved, grant funded research projects over the entire application life cycle. Integrates existing institutional applications/data into Internet based applications to streamline the research data gathering process.. Assists the AIM Shared Resource in the development and maintenance of the web site, including infrastructure, security and performance. Analyzes and tests emerging technologies to maintain the latest research gathering capabilities with an understanding of the applicability to the AIM Shared Resource projects, customers and to the institution as whole. Maintains and expands working knowledge of the technical tools required to provide the mobile/web technology service to customers across the institution.


Customer Service Expertise:

*  Meets with faculty and clinicians in the division and across the institution to determine research needs. Creates work flow diagrams and mockups for approval prior to commencement of work. Works directly with customers to develop application requirements. Responds to customer requests and feedback. Assists customers throughout the development process, suggesting features and products that would be beneficial for customer's project(s). Provides status updates as necessary during the development process to keep customer informed of progress.


Other duties as assigned  

Required: Bachelor's degree. 

Required: Two years of experience in systems programming with two years experience in related software programs, to include experience in an assembler language or comparable machine coding language, one other language, and working knowledge of one or more additional languages. May substitute require education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. 

Preferred: Web development, proficient with Javascript/TypeScript, C#, CSS, HTML and familiar with .NET MVC, .NET Web API, Angular and or VueJS.
