MD Anderson is seeking an Associate Director, Development (Development Services Reporting Analyst) in the Texas Medical Center, Houston, Texas.

The Development Office builds relationships with donors to secure and wisely steward their contributions. The connections that all of us make among patients, donors and the cancer community help raise awareness of MD Anderson and what we can accomplish together.

Ideal candidate will have experience in a fundraising environment creating reports and dashboards in SAP Crystal Reports.  Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in private fund development, marketing public/client relations or closely related field.


The Associate Director, Development Services provides reporting and data visualization solutions to the Development Office in support of fundraising initiatives and efforts.  Responsibilities include, but not limited to, analysis, design, development, and implementation of business reports and dashboards that will monitor performance and quality control along with providing solutions that meet the informational needs of the Development Office.



Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports, scorecards and dashboards, based on specifications as requested.


Develop and modify existing Crystal/Business Objects reports.


Develop report end-user training and training materials; provide technical support as necessary.

Support ad hoc data requests.

Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.


End-user support for issues related to reports, dashboards, and fundraising systems.


Schedule and distribute reports utilizing Institutional Reporting Enterprise – SAP Business Intelligence.


Act as champion for BI benefits across the department; promote BI usage


Required: Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field.


Required: Five years’ experience in private fund development, marketing public/client relations or closely related field.

Preferred: Experience in a fundraising environment creating business intelligence reports in SAP Crystal Reports.
