Clinical Data Abstractor -Institute for Data Science in Oncology

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education: 2 Year College Degree

Experience Required: Two years of experience in tumor registry, healthcare or related field. Additional years of education may be substituted for required experience on a one to one-year basis.

Preferred Certification: CCS- Certified Coding Specialist
CPC- Certified Procedure Coder
CTR- Certified Tumor Registrar
ART- Accredited Record Technician
RRA- Registered Record Administrator 
RHIA- Registered Health Information Administrator
RHIT- Registered Health Information Technician
