CT Technologist
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent with a certificate from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved Radiologic Technology Program.
Preferred: Bachelor in Science from a JRCERT program in Diagnostic Imaging or Radiologic Technology.
Experience
One year of experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist or two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist. With preferred education, no experience is required.
License/Certification
Required: All of the following:
· Medical Radiologic Technologist license (MRT) from the Texas Department of State Health Services
· American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography credentials.
· Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)/ CPR
Preferred:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in CT credentials.
