We are currently seeking an EKG Technologist to join our Cardiology Laboratory team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.  EKG experience is preferred.

Shift: Night - every Saturday and Sunday - 7:30 pm to 6:00 am, varies weekday - Evening/Night - 5:30 pm to 6:00 am

Salary: $43,000 minimum - $54,000 midpoint - $65,000 maximum
Hourly breakdown of salary range: Minimum $20.67 – Midpoint $25.96 – Maximum $31.25

Summary
The primary purpose of the EKG Technologist position is to perform cardiology diagnostic procedures.

Key Functions
Performs diagnostic tests to include electrocardiography (EKG)s, signal average EKGs and holter monitor hook-ups. Assists physicians during procedures as needed. Assist patients with preparation for test procedures.  Interacts with patient and families by comforting and giving constant attention to their welfare. Calibrates and prepares equipment for use. Evaluates validity of patients’ data and test results, as well as processing charges. Complies with lab policies, technical procedures, safety rules and infection control policies. Performs additional duties as assigned by Chief Cardiovascular Technologist or designee.

EDUCATION
Required: High school diploma/equivalent.
Preferred: Technical training in cardiopulmonary-related healthcare field.  

EXPERIENCE
Required: One year of experience in a healthcare setting. 
Preferred: One year of experience in a healthcare setting; prefer EKG experience.

CERTIFICATION
Required: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Preferred: none
