MD Anderson Physicians Network Community Manager

MD Anderson Physicians Network® is a quality management and best practices organization that delivers cancer management services through the certified membership program. Our goal is to improve cancer care in the general community by providing world-renowned, oncology services to local hospitals in the United States. Our multidisciplinary network of providers is committed to delivering the most appropriate cancer treatment using MD Anderson Cancer Center clinical guidelines, which includes an integrated approach to education, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree and five years of strategic planning/project management experience as well as a strong Social Media presence and Technical background. Salesforce, Qualtrics, and/or Jive are Highly Preferred.

Job Description

This role will be a key asset in the growth and advancement of MD Anderson Physician Network’s national outreach program called the MD Anderson Certified Member. Specifically, MD Anderson is seeking a technically experienced community manager to further develop and actively enhance value of cloud-based social business community, Connect to the benefit of our employees and Certified Members. The Connect community manager will consult with individual business units to develop a plan to optimize the use of the social community to meet the needs for collaboration as well as help our employees and members engage and maximize use of Connect. This individual will manage the continued development of an intranet community built in Jive Software, maintenance of the site, administrative console, and develop strong relations with the internal and external stakeholders on the strategy for community management.  The position reports to the Director of Strategic Planning and Social Business

Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.

Experience
Required: Five years of strategic planning/project management experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one-to-one basis.
