The Endoscopy Center, within the Procedural and Therapeutics Division, partners with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate outpatient procedures while delivering an exceptional patient experience. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you'll serve as a key point of contact for patients and families by coordinating procedures, communicating pre-procedure instructions, managing provider schedules, and ensuring every patient interaction is handled with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
 
 
 
Working Hours
 
 
Work hours vary based on departmental and operational needs. Employees complete training fully on-site. Following successful completion of training, the position may transition to a hybrid schedule based on departmental needs and operational requirements. Shift assignments are determined after training and may vary. 
Occasional Saturday coverage and front desk on-call responsibilities may be required.
 
 
Hourly Breakdown of salary range: Minimum $19.23 - Midpoint $24.03 - Maximum $28.84
 
 
What You'll Do
 
 
  • Coordinate and schedule endoscopy procedures, appointments, and related services accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage physician block schedules, provider availability, and procedure room assignments to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families by providing clear communication regarding scheduling, procedure preparation, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support seamless patient care before and after procedures.
  • Maintain and update patient demographics, physician orders, appointment templates, and electronic medical records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Respond promptly to patient inquiries received by phone, email, and the patient portal.
  • Assist with pre-procedure coordination and post-procedure scheduling while ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Safeguard patient information and maintain compliance with all privacy regulations.
  • Perform additional administrative and patient support duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Required: Three years of relevant work experience.  May substitute additional education for required experience on a one-to-one basis.

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
