LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Required: One of the following: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). New graduate must obtain and maintain certification by the 180th day after date of graduation from an accredited school of surgical technologist. Employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility prior to September 1, 2009. Completed appropriate training program for surgical technology in the military of the United States or in the United State Public Health Service.
