SUMMARY
The primary purpose of the Coord, Research Data position is to provide complex operational support to the Adaptive Patient-Oriented Longitudinal Learning and Optimization (APOLLO) Platform within the Department of Translational Molecular Pathology and the Division of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Major responsibilities include tracking, coordinating the logistics and validating the receipt of patients’ samples for the studies on APOLLO, specifically the samples received from outside MD Anderson institutions. Documents and reconciles patient’s enrollment and sample collection data. Complies with lab policies, technical procedures, safety rules, and infection control policies. Responsible for timely response to the Institutional Tissue Bank regarding shipment of samples from external collaborators.
