Research Data Coordinator - Radiation Oncology Clinical Research Department
The ideal candidate for this position holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and brings strong attention to detail and patient care. They should have phlebotomy experience and be comfortable collecting blood samples, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Familiarity with medical record systems and Microsoft 365 is essential for managing patient scheduling and data entry efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and demonstrates excellent communication skills when interacting with patients and clinical staff.
The primary purpose of the Research Data Coordinator is to provide support for clinical research activities, including providing clinical evaluation, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of patients enrolled in clinical research trials. This role also serves as a point of contact regarding status and progress of selected research trials. Impacts clinical trials patients in designated protocols. Utilizes medical or clinical knowledge for supervised non-clinical patient interaction for the purposes of research data gathering. The position will provide all necessary support for the coordination of research studies in the Department of Radiation Oncology.

Hourly breakdown of salary range:
Minimum $21.15 - Midpoint $26.44 - Maximum $31.73

Key Functions
Develops and maintains research documentation, electronic databases, and patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance with study protocols.
Performs phlebotomy and biospecimen collection, ensuring proper handling, tracking, and data entry.
Supports Principal Investigators with data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.
Coordinates patient scheduling, follow-ups, and documentation of adverse events and outcomes in EMR systems.
Assists with protocol activation, audit preparation, and staff training while collaborating with internal and external research partners
EDUCATION
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Required: Two years Related experience. or
- Required: No experience required with preferred degree.
Preferred: Phlebotomy experience.
