Scientific Manager - Biologics Product Development

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences.

Preferred: PhD.

Experience

Required: Seven years relevant research experience to include two years in a supervisory/managerial capacity. With preferred Masters degree, five years of required experience to include two years in a supervisory/managerial capacity and with preferred PhD, three years of required experience to include two years in a supervisory/managerial capacity.

Preferred:

·      Working knowledge of oncology disease processes and preclinical models.

·      Demonstrated ability for critical thinking and problem solving.

·      Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

·      Excellent communication and organizational skills.

·      Demonstrated ability for taking initiative and working independently.

·      Demonstrated strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and a superior drive for results

·      Excellent written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management and staff

·      Demonstrated skills and comfort in proactively building relationships with potential partners.

·      Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills

·      Ability to operate as an effective tactical, as well as strategic thinker

·      Ability to develop and stick to project timelines through the use of project management tools
