Senior Electronic Technician
The mission of The University of Texas M. D. KEY FUNCTIONS
The primary purpose of the Senior Electronic Technician position is to install, repair, program and maintain the card access, closed circuit television, and other electronic security systems. Provides training and guidance to electronic technicians
Completes work orders related to the maintenance of electronic security systems. Installs access control, CCTV and other security related devices.
Provides training and guidance to electronic technicians.
Assists in overall system preventive maintenance and documentation. Assists UTPD project managers with on-going security related projects.
Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by approved courses in electronics.
Experience Required: Three years of journey level experience in the installation, maintenance, repair and operation of modern electronic equipment.
