- Remains knowledgeable and competent in all policies, procedures and protocols
- Reviews, Drafts, and Evaluates Section SOPs
- Ensures and verifies quality control data is appropriate for the complexity of the reported tests
- Assists in technical troubleshooting and maintains laboratory equipment
- Communicates problems with Lead, Supervisor and/or Manager as appropriate
- Maintains competency in computer functions in assigned areas and is able to troubleshoot when needed
- Evaluates and solves problems and documents appropriately.
- Ensure effective use of supplies and reagents by following sections inventory management system
- Complies with safety guidelines and procedures and adheres to regulatory mandates
- Completes, verifies and reports testing in timely manner
- In the absence of Laboratory Supervisor and/or Lead, guides and assists Scientists.
