Sr Healthcare Systems Improvement Specialist
EDUCATION:
Required: Master's Degree in Statistics, Business Administration, Health Administration, Mathematics or related field.
Preferred: Master’s or other advanced degree in relevant health domain (i.e. nursing, genetic counseling, public health, health administration, statistics), and training in quality or performance improvement.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Five years of experience in process improvement or business analytics. May substitute required degree with additional years of experience on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Experience in direct patient care relevant to cancer and cancer prevention (e.g. nurse, genetic counselor, advanced practice provider). Experience leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical quality improvement programs and/or research initiatives, and capacity building in various clinical environments (e.g. specialty care, primary care). Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Computer software skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and experience using electronic medical record systems (e.g. EPIC), databasing software (e.g. REDCap), and electronic survey tools (e.g. Qualtrics).
