REQUIREMENTS
Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Education Preferred: Certificate from an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program or two years of college credit.
Licensure Required: Current Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).
Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Two years pharmacy technician experience in a hospital, infusion center or retail pharmacy.
Preferred Experience: Pharmacy experience in a variety of specialized areas and functions.
Supervision Given: None.
Supervision Received: Technician Supervisor.
Other Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
