EDUCATION:
Required:
Graduate-level theological degree from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Equivalencies for graduate level theological degree will be granted by the individual professional organization according to their own established guidelines.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Completion of one year residency -minimum 4 units (Levels I & II)) in an accredited ACPE Clinical Pastoral Education program; National Association of Catholic Chaplains program, or the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care. Ordination, commissioning, or endorsement by faith/spiritual group for hospital chaplaincy.
